The services at SRC are not covered by provincial health plans. At present, extended health plans will also not cover the costs. Some employers, disability insurers and third party payers may cover these costs.
ARE THE SERVICES COVERED BY MY PROVINCIAL HEALTH PLAN OR OTHER INSURANCE?
For most assessments, the cost will be between $400-$950, depending on the complexity and the specialty. Some more complex assessments and independent examinations for insurance or medicolegal purposes will cost more. You can pay by cash, VISA, Mastercard, Amex, or Interac.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST AND HOW CAN I PAY?

WHICH SPECIALISTS WORK AT SRC?
In many instances, the SRC will be able to expedite investigations and treatment. The specialist will discuss the possibilities in specific terms relating to your particular circumstance. Options may include referral to private facilities either locally or out of province.

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
The Specialist Referral Clinic is a completely private clinic so no referral is necessary to see one of our Specialists privately, however we will require any medical notes or diagnostic imaging reports for review prior to booking your appointment. If you want to see one of our specialists in their public office, then your GP would need to send a referral to their MSP office. We do not facilitate those appointments.
