Dr. Owen Reid obtained his Doctor of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. He later received world-class training in surgery of the face, breast and body at the University of Calgary's Reconstructive and Cosmetic Plastic Surgery residency program. Dr. Reid completed his residency in 2008 and joined the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Owen Reid offers a full range of plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery procedures including breast augmentation, liposuction, and tummy tuck for patients in the Vancouver area. He is board certified by Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is an active member of The College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia, The Canadian Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, The Canadian Society of Plastic Surgery, and The American Society of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Reid currently holds a staff position in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the Richmond Hospital where he has been an active member of the leadership team (since July 2009) ensuring timely access to quality care for all patients. Dr. Reid has also held multiple positions, including Credentials Committee member, Co-Chief of the Out Patient Department, and Clinical Program Manager for the Department of Surgery. Dr. Reid was the first Surgeon Champion at the Richmond Hospital for the National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP).
