Dr. Kelly Apostle

Dr Kelly Apostle was born and raised in Sault Ste Marie Ontario. She began post secondary education at Queen's University in the department of astrophysics. She became interested in medicine during her second year and transferred schools and majors ultimately completing a Bachelor of Science degree with an honors thesis in the Hormonal Regulatory Mechanisms Laboratory from the University of Western Ontario in 2001. Dr. Apostle Graduated from the University of Western Ontario, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry in 2005 and completed her residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of British Columbia in 2010. She subsequently pursued fellowship training in adult foot and ankle reconstructive surgery at Harborview Hospital, University of Washington in Seattle Washington completing her training in 2011.

Dr. Apostle began practice at the Royal Columbian and Eagle Ridge Hospitals in 2011 with a subspecialty practice of orthopaedic trauma and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. Her primary interests are in deformity correction, degenerative conditions, total ankle replacements, acute trauma and post-traumatic conditions of the foot and ankle.

Dr. Apostle is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. She is an active member of the Canadian Foot and Ankle Society, American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, Canadian Orthopaedic Association and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. She is a clinical Instructor in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of British Columbia.
