Dr. Farhad Moola
SPECIALIZATION: WRIST, ELBOW, SHOULDER
Dr. Moola completed Orthopaedic Surgery at McGill University (2003) after graduating from Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan (1997).
Fellowship trained in Shoulder surgery at the University of Toronto (2004) and in Hand and Upper Extremity surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston (2005), Dr. Moola has subspecialty expertise in the diagnosis and surgical management of orthopaedic disorders of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand.
Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and active membership within the Canadian Orthopaedic Association, the Canadian Shoulder and Elbow Society, the Canadian Orthopaedic Trauma Society, and the Orthopedic Trauma Association provides for lifelong surgical research and education pursuits.
As a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of British Columbia, Dr. Moola provides teaching to medical students and residents. He is Fellowship Director of the Royal Columbia Upper Extremity Reconstruction and Trauma Fellowship. He is an active staff member of both the Royal Columbian and Eagle Ridge Hospitals where his surgical practice is based.
Dr. Moola’s surgical practice is focused on the Shoulder and Upper Extremity with expertise in Arthroscopic and Open soft tissue repair, Joint replacement and Trauma reconstruction.
